This site contains copyrighted Material, which is owned by Anness Publishing Ltd.

Once you despatch your image request to us you are no obligation until you agree our final prices, revised or otherwise.

There can be no refunds once we have sent you the links to download your images or have despatched your CD though replacement images can be issued via FTP.

Definitions
The prices advertised are for 'Standard Single Use' only The rights granted under this use are the one time only single use worldwide in the inside pages of a magazine, book, journal or manual at any size

If you plan any other use for the image you must give us full details about your intended use as this may affect the price we offer you.

Property and Delivery
Practical Pictures of Hermes House 88-89 Blackfriars Road, London SE1 8HA, England is authorised to licence the Material contained on this site

The Material will be supplied in digital form only, and transmission to the Licensee will be preferably by downloading from our FTP server. Should you require delivery of the Material on CD/DVD you are responsible to pay all postage and handling fees and if you cancel the order after delivery you will not be entitled to a refund of the postage and handling fees

Practical Pictures makes every effort to correctly caption the Material but does not warrant that such information is accurate

Practical Pictures does not warrant that the Material supplied will be free from errors, defects, viruses or any damaging elements and Practical Pictures will not be liable to correct any errors, defects, viruses or damaging elements. You will assume the cost or service, repair and/or correction to your hardware, software or any other equipment. The Licensee should examine all Licensed Material for possible defects before sending the Licensed Material for Reproduction

Under no circumstances whatsoever will Practical Pictures be liable to you for any money damages such as lost profit, lost revenue, lost savings or any other loss arising out of the use or inability to use the Material

Practical Pictures and/or its directors, employees, suppliers or distributors will not be held liable whatsoever for any damages arising out of the use/misuse of the Material and/or this site

The Licence
The Licensee accepts a non-exclusive, non-transferable License (unless otherwise agreed in writing) to use the images upon the terms and conditions herein

The Licensee has the non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sub licensable right to copy, reproduce, transmit and display the Material in the following formats Web Page Design, Book Publication, Magazine Publication and any other uses and/or formats approved by Practical Pictures. You may alter, crop and manipulate the Material

You may not rent, transfer, sublicense, sell, and/or assign any of its rights under this Agreement. You may not incorporate any of the Material into a logo, trademark or service mark unless agreed in writing by Practical Pictures. You may not put the Material on-line in a downloadable format or use the Material in a website where the resolution is greater than 72dpi

On termination of this Agreement the Licensee agrees to the immediate stoppage of the use of all of the Material purchased under this Agreement and the Licensee will erase any saved images and return any hardware to Practical Pictures (at the Licensee’s expense)

This License Agreement is effective until it is terminated

The Licensee
By accepting this Agreement you confirm the information that you provide to Practical Pictures is accurate and true

By accepting this Agreement you confirm you will not use the Material in any way that is not permitted by this License

Rights and Assignment
No rights are granted to the Licensor until all/any payments are made in full

All the electronic Licensed Material must retain the original file name and any other identification code associated with the material

Practical Pictures may inspect any records relating to the reproduction of any of the Licensed Material to ensure the Licensed Material is being used in accordance with this Agreement

No ownership or copyright in any of the Licensed Material shall pass to the Licensee by the issuance of this Agreement

You may not at any time redistribute or sell the Material

Restrictions
Use of the Material is strictly limited to the use, medium, period of time, print run, placement, territory and any other restriction as advised on the site or by commutative means such as email or telephone

You may not use any of the Material in any manner that suggests the endorsement or association of any product or service

The Material may not be used in a pornographic, defamatory, libellous or otherwise illegal manner whether directly or indirectly with other materials

You may not create, store or transmit the Material without our permission except in the process of producing the agreed end product

Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in all respects in accordance with British Laws

Misc
Practical Pictures can suspend the service at any time or impose a restriction on the services to insure the best possible service to all users
